KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Enterprise Architecture to join our KPMG Technology organization.


+ Achieve IT strategy objectives by breakthrough thinking to create strategic plans and roadmap plans; Ensure an overall architecture with consistent uses of data and significant reuse of technology and business services throughout building design; Drive integration across all aspects of enterprise architecture and ensures an end-to-end enterprise focus

+ Build a collaborative commitment to technology strategy by considering and evaluating different points of view; Create a cohesive argument and improving the portfolio planning model

+ Collaborate with leaders to define enterprise architecture by analyzing information requirements; determining systems architecture, components, and technologies; and studying business capabilities; Develop points of views on emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements

+ Provide coaching, guidance and direction on projects, ensuring overall fit with architecture direction; Complete architectural assessments and unbiased analysis of key decisions within projects including impact on systems, costs, business processes, timelines and other key variables

+ Complete unbiased analysis of technology options and develop a practice to determine, approve and manage preferred technologies; maintain a list of approved technologies; Create communication strategies that will guide the organization to standard technologies or create new standards as development needs arise

+ Stay up-to-date with technology trends to ensure reference architecture and strategies stay current; Understand successes and failures in the marketplace to better guide the firm's architecture strategy; Manage the Enterprise Architecture team, including hiring, coaching, professional development, and training and performance management


+ Minimum of ten years of technology experience which includes experience leading design teams with a strong devotion to customer service

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred

+ Demonstrated ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of situations; Ability to translate business needs into requirements and ability to estimate the financial impact of architecture alternatives

+ Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

+ Strong verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work with the ability to foster the development of high performance teams, build strong professional relationships and influence at all levels across the organization

+ Able to set and execute strategic initiatives for team; Creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions with the ability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership
